Visit a city in the late afternoon to discover its history and its monuments. A summer guided tour that we offer to all those who prefer a walk without the summer heat of Sicily.

Route 1: from Piazza Pretoria to the Norman palace

The route starts from one of the most representative monuments of the city the Fontana Pretoria better known as the fountain of Shame. And again the Palazzo Pretorio, seat of the municipality of Palermo with the statue of the Genio of Palermo, one of the symbols of the city. We will head to Piazza Bellini where we will visit the Arab-Norman church of Santa Maria dell’Ammiraglio called la Martorana. The monument is famous because here the nuns of the Martorana monastery invented the Martorana fruit. The church is known for its Byzantine mosaics and for the Borremans frescoes. Next to the Martorn we find the church of San Cataldo with its famous red domes, symbol of Palermo. We will pass along the BallarĂ² market one of the three historical markets of the city. Until you get to the royal palace called “Palazzo dei Noranni” with the visit of the Palatine Chapel and the rooms of the building with the Sicilian Parliament (on Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning).

Route 2: from the Cathedral to the Kalsa district.

The route starts from the cathedral of Palermo from the Unesco heritage. The church is an ecclesia equipped ie a fortified church with its towers and mosreschi decorations. Inside the chapel of Santa Rosalia and the chapels of the Norman kings and Stupor mundi Federico Secondo. We will descend along the CASSARO the oldest street in Palermo to one of the most representative monuments of the city the Fontana Pretoria better known as the fountain of Shame. And again the Palazzo Pretorio, seat of the municipality of Palermo with the statue of the Genio of Palermo, one of the symbols of the city. The cathedral together with the church of San Cataldo and the Martorana are part of the Unesco monuments from 2015.
